Some new stuff

Isabel likes to go into baby's room and jump in his/her crib. We got a free crib from a good friend, Adam painted it firebarn red and it looks great. We are slowly getting the room ready for the new addition. I don't think Isabel has a clue about what is going to happen to her nice, peaceful world! Isabel and her good friend had a blast playing dolls together. They told each other "time to wash face", "She needs to go potty". They were a hoot.

Dave, Adam installed the log lighter and now your mantel looks perfect. We have lit 3 fires but are now hampered by some late fall hot weather. I am ready for some cool weather, a fire and some hot chocolate.

Odds and Ends

Isabel has really been into reading her books lately. She will pretend she is reading the books out loud and sometimes she will turn the book around and show her "audience" the pictures. I assume she learned this from school.

Here she is reading with daddy, except they are both reading books about wine making! What an influence.

We had two birthday parties this weekend and everyone was tired. I fell asleep on the other couch, woke up to a quiet house and wondered where everyone was. Apparently they were all curled up together on the futon. Even Zinni dog looks tired!

On days that I don't work, I have become very lazy and don't want to get out of bed. Izzy now joins me and we watch cartoons until I slowly roll out of bed.
