Easter

This may be the last blog entry for a few days/weeks. The computer is broken (hardware??) and we need to send it in for a tune up. But before we pack it up to ship it off, here is a picture of Izzy "going to work". She got herself dressed and announced she had to go to work. Claudia's bedroom became her office and she shut the door and was in their "working". She then came out and announced "work over". I asked her what she does at work and she responded that she "plays". I want to get a job at her firm! And take a look at her work attire!
We celebrate Easter with some friends. Isabel and her friends had a blast on the egg hunt and somehow all the candy disappeared before we could take it away. Funny how they had chocolate all over their mouths!
Searching for those eggs.
The weather has been so nice that we have started to play outside again. Izzy uncovers her sand box.
Claudia watches from her exersaucer.
i had a great birthday and thankfully they only put 3 candles in my cake.

Claudia's baptism

We are a holiday behind, the year is going by too fast. Today is Easter and I am just posting St. Patty's Day pictures. The girls were decked out in green and feeling all Irish. I tried to make an all green meal but it didn't quite happen. We did have some broccoli which we decided was good enough. Madeline, Claudia, Isabel, Gavin and Connor all pose for the camera.
One of our last days of the trip we made some Easter cookies. The kids helped bake the cookies and then put frosting and sprinkles on, they were delish!
Isabel and Madeline had such a good time playing. Isabel asks to go back in the airplane to visit her cousins.
Claudia's baptism.
Claudia with her godparents! They better take an active role in raising this child.
Hope that water isn't cold! She did a great job.
Claudia with Nana and Grandpa.
When Isabel hears a firetruck she often wonders if it is Dave's truck, so we took a stop at the fire station to see him and his truck.
Isabel had fun climbing around and running through the station.
We had a great visit with Grandma Charlotte.
Claudia braves the cold.
And we would never hear the end of it if Grandpa didn't make the blog with his new passion, his beloved train set. He had several trains going at once, quite impressive. When no one can find him, it means he is out "playing" with his trains.

Ice skating

Isabel and cousin Madeline tried out ice skating. They were too cute together. Isabel remembered the Princess on Ice show we had been too recently so she named herself Sleeping Beauty and decided that Madeline was Tinkerbell. They did a great job.

Our trip

One of these days Claudia will wake up and realize she is missing all the fun! Isabel had a blast dog sledding. She went 3 times, once with Nana........
Once with Mama............
Tis cold out here....all bundled up. Isabel had a grand time with her grandma's.
Nana, Adam and Isabel pose for a picture.
And here is Isabel and Adam on their dog sled run (third time)!
Adam and I play with the doggies.

After all that outdoor fun we needed to warm up. Izzy warmed up by eating/drinking Grandpa's hot cocoa! View of the lighthouse and lake.

Isabel learned real quick how much fun snowballs can be!
Isabel with mama and both Nana and Lala.

Better run Adam, this is aimed at you!

Uncle Greggie meets Claudia.

Princess

Isabel has turned into a girly girl and she likes to pretend she is a princess. So we went to see Disney Princess on Ice show with her friends. They had a good time but at dinner when Adam asked her about the show, she mainly talked about the big machine that cleaned the ice during the intermission. That's my girl! Claudia looking "oh so cute" and sitting up like a big girl.
Isabel grilled up some dinner. Notice that the oven mitts she is wearing are really her socks on her hands. Delicious!
The Princess Fairy came the other night and took all of Izzy's pacifiers to give to the new babies at the hospital. I am shocked at how well she is doing without them, but she has mentioned a few times that she wants to go look for them the next time we are at the doctor's office. The fairy left her a scooter as a gift for the pacifiers.
