Isabel opens wide for her first dentist appointment. She did very well. Now we have added flossing the teeth to her nightly routine, which she takes very seriously. She tells us we must floss her teeth so she doesn't have to wear braces. Now if she would only listen to us about what sucking her thumb does to her teeth.................

Happy Anniversary Adam. It has been 9 adventure filled years! Lets hold out for another 49 years although i may stop trying on my dress at some point. Isabel said i looked like "sleeping beauty". She is all about the princesses.
Nine years, one dog and 2 kids later......and a few gray hairs for both of us.
Isabel wanted to dress up like a princess too.
This morning Isabel was ready to walk the dog in Daddy's shoes.
We spent the morning at a clubside pool with some friends. It was a beautiful day to be splashing in the water. Here Claudia and Emily played in the water together.

Zinni hates to swim, but she acted quite regal floating on her throne in the pool.
The construction has come to an abrupt stop as we wait for those windows. Pa and Nana rearranged their flight and are trying to wait it out with us. Adam will need Pa's help to install them. So we have diverted our attention and the heat with the pool. We have been swimming several times everyday with this heat. Isabel is becoming quite the little fish.
Even Claudia has put on her bikini for a dip in the pool.
The coast was cloudy for our day at the beach.
Pa made a sign for Isabel in the sand.
And Isabel wanted one more pony ride.

Claudia took us all by surprise when she tried to wave "hi" to us this morning. We will have to keep practicing this new skill.
