Isabel turns 4!

Little Isabel is 90% height and 90% weight for her age group. She is turning into a big girl. She did wear all her jewerly (headband, barrettes and necklace) to the MD's office today and the MD took one good look at her and said, "Hmmmm, yes she is a CA girl". Happy Birthday Izzy. Isabel, Connor and Madeline headed off to the local minature golf hotspot with the daddies for a round of golf and a water bumper car ride. Here Madeline hits her hole in one.
Isabel liked the purple golf ball.
The local golfers take a break.
Crawling through for the perfect hit.
Isabel requested a chocolate princess cake and Granny LaLa did a great job of baking one for her.
Claudia also was ready to party.
PRESENTS!!!!!
The birthday girl.
The other excited news was that daddy got to mow the lawn on a riding lawn mower.
It is slightly different than our eco friendly battery operated push mower.
And the other EXCITING news was that Greg and Katie had their baby a month early. We watched in humor as they tried to process what was happening. They were not prepared for an early birth. Katie (instead of packing her over night bag and going to the hospital) sits down on the computer to e-mail her boss and finish up some reports and she wants to mail off to him.
Finally they pack up and head out.
And beautiful Elizabeth Rose was born the next day. She is so tiny and sweet. They will call her Ellie. We can't wait for her to come home.

Our temporary home

My brother Greg and his wife Katie have been more than gracious to allow us to call their place home until we find one. We have moved in with 2 kids and a dog. I think it has been an eye opening experience for them. They will have their first baby in a month. Isabel waters their plants and tends to the yard work.
It was a beautiful morning. We spent some time jump roping, playing soccer, throwing balls to Zinni and then the girls did some sidewalk chalk and played with buckets of water. What a busy morning!
Greg and Katie have a pond it the back of their yard that 2 geese adopted as their home. We woke up the other morning to see their new addition to their family.
The geese like to eat the bird food droppings.
Katie was away for Mother's Day weekend and Greg planted a new tree for her and the new baby as a surprise. I don't think she has seen it yet since she got home late last night.

As payment for staying at their house, Katie makes Isabel put on her socks since she has a hard time bending down with the prego belly. Child labor at work!
Jen wanted to know where all our stuff is being stored. Check out Greggie's garage!
And here is some more......
And more.....some more boxes in their basement too.
Isabel loves to hold her new cousin, baby Liam.

We attended a baby shower for Katie. Here she is holding her sister's baby, Clara.
