Winter has come.

Auntie Lisa, I was quite upset to see snowy pictures on your blog this morning. I was hoping we would have a green/brown christmas this year. Alas, we will pack our snowsuits when we head East this year. The girls are getting used to all this gear to head out to play.

The girls do love playing in the snow. Poor Claudia, often she will fall and be unable to get back up!

We had a light dusting of snow this AM so i sent the girls out to shovels. But this is all they did and i had to go finish it. Izzy later said she didn't want to shovel, she just wanted to make patterns in the snow.

Christmas tree time

Last weekend we went to the old tree farm to cut down a beautiful tree. We still harvest trees from this site but it is no longer open to the public so we had the place to ourselves. Adam got lots of help cutting down the tree.

While I tied it down all by myself!

We then spent the rest of the weekend helping out at the tree farm. I got to hang out with cousin Joy again, which was lots of fun.

Claudia LOVES her new dress from Auntie Lisa. She had to wear it immediately.

Isabel helped decorate the tree.

This weekend we went to an figure skating competition that Adam's cousin Heather participated in. Isabel is interested in taking lessons with me, but she would like to wear the "fancy outfit" to the practices.

We were back up to the tree farm again this weekend. But looks like the girls are playing and not working!
