Sophia continues....

It is Nana and I with the three girls this week. Adam has been out of state the last 2 weeks and Grandpa went back to the East Coast to check on the new house. Nana has been reading the girls their nightly stories before bed. The girls spend the morning wearing their "slippery" socks and pretended they were skating on the wood floor.
Off with the slippery socks and time to be princesses.
Today we got out of the house and met up with some friends for a play date. The girls had a blast at Samantha's house and her little play pool. Some of the neighbor kids came over too and it was a herd of little girls everywhere.
Sophia enjoyed the outdoor activities.
They also played at the park across the street.
The 3 girls had snack time with Samantha. Samantha will be in the kindy class next to Izzy's class, they do lots of team teaching so they will see each other alot at school.
Last day of swimming lessons.
The girls had so much fun with lessons and have improved so much. They are little swimmers.
So cute!
And Claudia has been a great sport as she watched the big girls swim. After she turns 3 she can take lessons too.
Claudia trying on mama's sunglasses. These are the sunglasses that Daddy laughs at when mama's wears them. He thinks they are too big and only should be worn in Cali.

Sophia's visit continues

The other day we went bowling. We had a great time. Some of the pics are a bit blurry, must be because they are "action" shots. The girls awaiting for their turn.
The girls only liked to bowl with the pink ball.
Wait, who took my picture?
Sophia liked the fan at the end of the bowling ramp. She sat there fanning herself as she waited for her next turn.
Sophia rolls her ball.
The girls favorite toy is Nana's Ipad.
Lala came the other night with a kit to make chocolate covered banana's.
Isabel loved hers!
Claudia is covering her banana with chocolate.
Sophia covers her banana with lots of chocolate.
They all loved them and can't wait for tomorrow night to finish off the chocolate.
The chefs......Lala and Nana.

Fun, injuries and first tooth

It has been beautiful, sunny and hot. A perfect day to get both slip-n-slides out to make the slide extra long. The girls had a blast. Claudia hits the slopes.
Sophia held her own on the waves.
I am still not sure why they had to wear their goggles.
The girls have been working with Nana on making these puppets. I am not sure how they will turn out, but it seems to be a popular project with the 3 girls.
First injury of the trip. Sophia went running into the banister and suffered a puncture wound. We were worried it would require a stitch but we were able to repair it on our own. She was quite brave through the mayhem.
After the recovery of Sophia's injury, Isabel went to brush her teeth and her loose tooth came out!!!! She was so excited and proud.
This morning we checked the injury and this is how it looks. We are positive that she is still as smart as ever despite the head injury.

Swimming lessons

Grandpa P went to an airshow with Grandpa H and came home with a new helicopter. Sadly, the helicopter has already crashed and burned. The girls had done lots of swinging. They want to go "high in the sky". The playground got a new stain the week before Sophia arrived.
Picture of me pushing the 2 girls. Picture taken by Isabel.
Isabel and Sophia started their 1st of 4 sessions of lessons. They did great.

Sophia made so much progress with her floating in just one session.

Happy 11th Anniversary

Happy Anniversary Adam! The girls thought I was a princess. We spent the morning at the local swimming hole. All three girls are loving to swim and be in the water.
Sophia digs for more water.
Our sandcastle.
Nana was kind enough to babysit all three kids so Adam and I could head out to a nice place for dinner. We had planned to see a Shakespear in the park play after dinner, but the local tornado ended that plan. But we had a nice anniversary.

Sophia is here!

The girls have been having so much fun with cousin Sophia who is visiting from the East Coast for the next 2 weeks. Everyday Grandpa has a new toy that he has been sharing with them. I am not quite sure if the toys are for the girls or for him! Today Izzy had her last day of spanish camp and Sophia, Lulu, Nana and I went to the local park where Mr. Science Dude was giving us a lesson. The girls wait for the show to start with their snacks.
Mr. Science Dude.
Sophia really enjoyed the show.
Claudia enjoyed wearing her sister's sunglasses without her knowing.
The neighbor girls are also going to give the girls some swim lessons over the next 2 weeks. Today was their first one.
Claudia wanted "more, more, more".
Sophia wanted to swim and dive on her own.
But the neighbor girls had her using her kickers.
We also had a puppet show tonight. We will try it again tomorrow night because somehow it ended up in lots of tears via multiple kids. Too Tired????
Lulu is all up side down.
