Sunshine state and Christmas

My house. My tree.
The girls had the best breakfast! But i was lucky enough to get a froathy latte brought to my bedside everyday. It was like we stayed at a B&B!
It was so good to see my loved Kaylee dog!
We were able to walk Hannah Jo to school in the morning. It was beautiful out.
And Izzy rediscovered her love for sushi!
Playing in our old park with Tay.
Mom's group and horse/buggy ride.
It felt like old times!
Part of the group.......
Jen cooking up a storm, but i forget what she was making but it was tasty! New recipe.
Amy and one of her new babies.
Taylor loved to hold the babies!
Izzy and I missed Lulu so much. We had lots of fun hanging out with her and the new zhuzhu pets.
Christmas Eve! Daddy loves his new hat from Uncle Jim!
The girls were into their new barbies.
Christmas morning. They are awake!!!!!

Blizzard part 2

This is after the first snowblowing. Then we had to snowblow a second time and it was already this high. Claudia didn't mind being housebound, she became a fairy with lots and lots of necklaces.
Fairy Lulu shows off all the snow up against mama's bedroom window.

Blizzard 2010

Blizzard 2010. Is this happening because i don't like snow? Adam attempts the first pass of cleaning the driveway. The snow is piled so high on the deck that it is up to the window.
Adam is trying to clear off the deck before the weight takes the deck off! But Isabel likes to play in it.
Isabel is literally playing at the height of the window in the living room.
How will Zinni pee and poo?
Where is Adam?
Sadly, the blizzard isn't over until tomorrow and then we get severe winds and freezing temps. Stay tuned for more pics as the snow deepens.

Christmas tree 2010

The girls playing like Fancy Nancy. I am trying not to be a "bahumbug" but i really don't like snow. I remember last year we had sweaters on when we cut down our tree. BUT we did find a beautiful tree.
Claudia got this close to Santa this year....much improvement over last year. Since Santa visits the tree farm every weekend, the girls have been able to talk with him several times. Apparently they have a long list.
Sledding around while waiting for customers.....
Hide and seek around the trees.
Claudia has a corner of the tree where she put all her ornaments.
Apparently the next foot of snow is on its way. A batch of Barefoots Contessa's French Mussel Bisque is in the crockpot in an attempt to warm our souls but if that doesn't work at least I am heading to Cali in a few days.
