Happy Birthday Zinni

This picture is out of order. Earlier this week we met up with our first visitors from our "old home". Anne, husband and 2 kids came out for a family wedding. We hooked up with them for a play in the park and a walk along the river front. I initially met Anne in graduate school. We both married, moved out of state and lost touch with each other. We met again when we both ended up living in the same area and working at the hospital together. We had a couple of playdates out West, Parker loved to swim in our old pool so it was awesome to see them again. We hope they come back out for some more visits.
Today is ZinZin's birthday. She is 7 years old. She loved her little presents and doggie treats. She had a relaxing day sleeping on our bed! Today we visited with Madeline, Connor and Gavin. Madeline hatched 5 butterflies and we were able to watch her release them.

Last weekend Adam's extended family hosted a family BBQ to welcome us to our new home. it was sunny and hot and they had a great water jumpy house for the kids to play in.

Isabel was a little timid to go down the big slide but she had fun playing with the older girls.

Isabel plays dress up. Claudia fits into top that I used to wear when i was a little girl. Handmade by Grandma Lala.

We headed up North and were about 40 miles from the border. We had fun exploring the rocks and land of the lakes.

Family picture.

I love several of these next pictures of Claudia. She found some "flowers" and was just in heaven being able to play with them.

Throwing rocks into the lake.

Action pose with Isabel. Behind her was the best restaurant where we went for lunch. I hope to feast there again soon.

My friend Kate came into town for a few days. Barb and I met her at the local zoo with all the kids. We had a blast catching up and trying to catch all the kids. Claudia and Margo pictured.

I have a picture of Barb and Kate holding Isabel when they came out to visit us out West. Here they are holding Claudia.

The kids: Brock, Savannah, Margo, Isabel and Claudia.

A couple of weekends ago after a tough day of house hunting, we headed to the river. We have found a great place that serves good margaritas and nachos. We have been there more than once already!
